Suboxone Medication Assisted Treatment

Man walking outside.

Horn Lake Family Practice is currently accepting new patients for Suboxone (Medication-Assisted Treatment).

What Is Suboxone?

Suboxone is a prescription medication used to treat opioid use disorder by reducing withdrawal symptoms and cravings. It contains buprenorphine, a partial opioid agonist that helps stabilize brain receptors without producing the intense effects of full opioids, and naloxone, which discourages misuse by triggering withdrawal if injected.

This medication allows many patients to regain stability, reduce the risk of relapse, and improve their overall quality of life while working toward long-term recovery from opioid dependence safely and effectively. Suboxone is part of a comprehensive treatment program that may include counseling and behavioral health support. We welcome new patients seeking treatment and recovery support.
